Allegoric is a curatorial project in which some friends and I put together a couple exhibits with some really great artists. We have exhibited in major art fairs like NEXT and as far away as London!

Etsy is a really great website to find handmade and vintage goods.

This is also where you can purchase my artwork!

I am interested in the innocence of nature. My paintings are meant to be encouraging and optimistic in the same way nature can be. I want to interpret plants in a way we recognize but in a way we don’t always notice. The details of the shapes are elegant and signify the individuality in each plant. I experiment with many different mediums, including fabric and embroidery, to give each new work a sense of life and individuality to each piece.

I currently live in Chicago and grew up in the midwest. My education is in design, my full time job includes a lot of digital imaging but my mind will always be with nature and animals. Making my artwork allows me to explore nature. Although I take my artwork very seriously, I do not aspire to make this artwork as a full time job. I am lucky to have a full time job I enjoy and I believe this freedom contributes to the optimistic attitude that comes across in my work.

Buying artwork directly from an artist or artist’s representative rather than a big box store helps support the very important and almost lost profession of being a fine artist. Allegoric is a curatorial project in which I exhibit other artist’s work. With my artwork and with the work that Allegoric represents, I guarantee that there will always be artwork available that just about anyone can purchase.

Thank you for visiting my website and your interest in my artwork.

MigraineMigraine_blog/Migraine_blog.html

facebook! if you didnt find what you wanted to know about me here, you will find more about me on facebook. that is if you really want to know!

People close to me know that I suffer from chronic migraines. They know about my daily medications and the list of do’s and dont’s. I am starting this blog to start communication with other people with migraines and to help others understand migraines better. Migraine sufferers know that this not as easy as it may seem. Migraines corner you in dark, quiet rooms while everyone else is out to play. My art is part of my anti-migraine therapy.
